Neon Mountain

This is Neon Mountian, a vector landscape artwork I have created in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, set to be the next entry in my vector landscapes series and the follow-up to Amethyst Lake.

It took a while of just editing gradients and moving shapes constantly to finally get it how I wanted it to look, so much so that I got severely burnt out during March. I picked it up again on 5 April and of course I managed to magically get it how I wanted within a day after stressing out over it for weeks.

Concept #

Just like Amethyst Lake, I began by generating some ideas using AI, this time using Microsoft Copilot (DALL-E 3). I then took these ideas and created my own work based off of it.

Early Version #

This is the early version of the artwork when I got burnt out on making it, this shows the lack of contrast with the mountains that was frustrating me. I only realised how to fix it after looking closer at the AI images and seeing how much contrast was on the mountains (it is what the AI was telling me all along :O). I am glad with how the final version turned out in comparison I think it looks nice and I feel so much better about it now.
